Certified Nurse Midwife (74004)
Join a team of 4 OBGYN physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in a well-established practice with over 30 years of community presence. The practice closes at 12:00 PM on Fridays and offers in-house sonography.
About the Role
- See 16-20 patients per day in a supportive, patient-centered environment.
- Provide full-spectrum obstetrics and gynecology services, including care through all stages of a woman’s life.
- Work collaboratively within a physician-led organization that values clinical excellence and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Provide independent, high-quality women’s healthcare in a clinical setting as part of a collaborative care team.
- Identify, evaluate, and address disease prevention and health promotion, with an emphasis on reproductive, gynecologic, and family-centered health education.
- Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and assess patient clinical problems and healthcare needs.
Qualifications
- Florida RN license and CNM license (or eligible).
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience as an RN prior to advanced training.
- Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse-Midwifery program.
- Minimum of 40 deliveries during training.
- ACNM certification (or eligible).
