Certified Nurse Assistant- PRN Cardiac Observation

About the role

A certified nursing assistant, or CNA, helps patients with activities of daily living and other healthcare needs under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks
• Help patients with mobility and transfers
• Monitor patient health and report changes to supervising nurse
• Administer medications as directed by a healthcare provider
• Support patients with meal times and nutrition
• Ensure patient rooms are clean and organized
• Provide emotional support to patients and families

Requirements

• High School Degree or Equivalent
• 1 year of work experience

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification
• Passing score on a state-approved CNA exam

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly
• Attention to detail
