About the role

Prairie Ridge Care Center is a long-term care facility dedicated to creating a home-like environment where residents can live meaningful and fulfilling lives. As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will provide personal and supportive care to enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as eating, drinking, and mobility
• Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing staff
• Participate in scheduled activities to engage residents and promote social interaction
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure the cleanliness of the living areas

Requirements

• Must be certified as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
• Basic computer skills (optional but helpful)

Pay

• Full-time: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
• Part-time: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule

• Shifts vary, including day, evening, and night shifts
• Work every other weekend and holiday
