Certified Nurse Assistant CNA

Our CNAs are uniquely positioned to notice changes in mood and behavior that are key in helping our clinical team recognize potential medical issues. We rely on our CNAs as they are a fundamental and valuable component of our clinical nursing team.
Pay
Starting wage: $20.00 per hour plus $3.40 per hour hero/hazard pay. Yearly wage increases.

Schedule
Full-time, 8-hour shifts (afternoons/midnights) with rotating weekends and holidays. We can work with your scheduling needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform and document patient care using individualized care plans as a guide
- Assist with bathing and all activities of daily living, including skin care, preventative and supportive care, routine morning and evening mouth care, shaving, and dressing
- Perform and document nutritional intake, blood pressure, TPRs, catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning, positioning, range of motion, and ambulation
- Support physical, psychological, occupational, speech, restorative, and recreational therapies by positively encouraging and promoting continued well-being
- Observe and report significant changes in routine or condition to your nursing team
- Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors
- Foster a positive, healthy environment for healing and thriving through kind words and encouragement
Requirements
- Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program
- Current CNA certification from the State of Michigan
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care
- Team player dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done
Certifications Required: CNA Nurse Aide Certification
