Duties
- Performs pre-anesthetic evaluations
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to prepare the anesthesia plan
- Delivers all forms of anesthesia
- Provides intra and post-operative care of patients
- Provides emergency airway and resuscitation management throughout the facility
- Establishes effective working relationships with all levels of staff
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant (CNSAA) or equivalent
- Experience in providing anesthesia care in a hospital setting
- Knowledge of pharmacology and physiology relevant to anesthesia
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
