About the role

The CNA Training Program is a 5-week long initiative designed to introduce participants to a career in healthcare at Maui Health. It includes 1 week of orientation and 4 weeks of intensive training, held Monday through Friday from 5-10 pm. Participants will train at a location in Kahului.

Responsibilities

• Gain on-the-job work experience
• Receive classroom education
• Participate in clinical training
• Be eligible for full-time employment at Kula Hospital upon successful completion of the program
• Have the opportunity to advance to various healthcare roles and specialties

Requirements

• High School/GED diploma or equivalent
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal relations, and customer service skills
• Demonstrated ability to provide culturally sensitive and age-appropriate care
• At least 18 years old
