Certified Nurse Aide - Taylor Health Center - PT- Evenings

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintains resident ADL needs including personal hygiene, oral/denture care, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Comprehends and implements resident plan of care for physical and emotional well-being.
• Knows and applies resident rights, abuse and neglect policies, and reporting protocols.
• Fulfills safety measures and equipment competency, including supply needs and replenishment.
• Follows infection control policies and measures, including hand washing and proper cleaning.
• Maintains resident elimination needs according to policies and documents toileting times and incontinence/continence status.
• Follows rehab nursing measures, encouraging independence and providing mobility support.
• Measures, records, and documents vital signs, height/weight, intake/output, and relevant care plan information.
• Participates in resident care conferences and care planning processes.
• Fulfills personnel policies related to attendance, breaks, meals, staff meetings, and mandated requirements.
• Possesses high ethical standards and maintains confidentiality.
• Provides age-appropriate care to adult and geriatric patients/residents.
• Completes mandatory educational programs and maintains 12 CEUs annually.

Qualifications

• Certified as a Nurse Aide with the New York State Department of Health.
• Current Heartsaver certification required.
• Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
• Demonstrates professionalism, team effort, kindness, and concern for residents and employees.
