Certified Nurse Aide Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance to residents with mobility issues, including transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Accurately document all care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff or supervisor.
• Assist with feeding, meal preparation, and provide companionship to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
• Current CNA certification in Kentucky required.
