Certified Nurse Aide, CNA - Home Health

About the Role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced CNA for a per diem opportunity to work with adult and senior clients on a per-visit basis. You will travel between multiple client homes per day, covering the East Valley and south Scottsdale territory. As a home health aide, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team providing home health, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care to clients, enabling them to receive medical care at home.

Access to reliable transportation is required.

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience as a CNA
• Listed on the Arizona Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing
• Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Complete a criminal background check
• Meet all state requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion exercises
• Transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home management tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
