Certified Nurse Aide - CNA

About the role

This role requires strong attendance, multitasking skills, and a professional, cooperative demeanor. You'll play a key role in supporting our residents with daily care while working closely with the care team to provide high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: Assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing, following care policy guidelines
• Maintain Resident Environment: Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked
• Safeguard Mobility: Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics
• Record Vital Information: Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption
• Assist with Positioning: Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety
• Encourage Engagement: Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed

Requirements

• Holds a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas
• Accurately records information and performs technical procedures
• Communicates well and demonstrates self-discipline and patience
• Genuinely cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities
• Understands and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities
• Follows all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move residents

$20.00 per hour
