Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Assisted Living, Full Time

We are seeking Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to join our community committed to delivering outstanding care to our residents. As a CNA, you will play an important role in monitoring vital signs, fostering meaningful connections with residents, and championing their overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Ensure resident care is the best it can be by following the care plan.
- Get to know residents by sharing stories, providing comfort, transportation, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living needs.
- Contribute to community harmony by providing emotional and social support to residents.
- Help residents with personal hygiene, such as providing bedpans and assisting with bathing.
- Safely lift and reposition residents as necessary.
- Provide adjunct patient care as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in resident behaviors to shift leaders.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Current Texas Nurse Aide Certification.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Minimum one-year related experience preferred, or appropriate formal education or Buckner training.
- Working knowledge of basic health care practices and procedures, including infection control.
- Ability to read, write, and understand business documents written in English.
- Ability to communicate verbally with residents, families, visitors, and co-workers.
- Ability to make self clearly understood by others.
- Ability to understand and follow basic written and oral step-by-step instructions.
- A friendly attitude and a servant’s heart.
Schedule
Full-time, 8-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM) on a 4 days on, 2 days off rotation.
