About the role

We are seeking Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to join our community committed to delivering outstanding care to our residents. As a CNA, you will play an important role in monitoring vital signs, fostering meaningful connections with residents, and championing their overall well-being. Responsibilities

  • Ensure resident care is the best it can be by following the care plan.
  • Get to know residents by sharing stories, providing comfort, transportation, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living needs.
  • Contribute to community harmony by providing emotional and social support to residents.
  • Help residents with personal hygiene, such as providing bedpans and assisting with bathing.
  • Safely lift and reposition residents as necessary.
  • Provide adjunct patient care as needed.
  • Monitor and report changes in resident behaviors to shift leaders.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Current Texas Nurse Aide Certification.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Minimum one-year related experience preferred, or appropriate formal education or Buckner training.
  • Working knowledge of basic health care practices and procedures, including infection control.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand business documents written in English.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with residents, families, visitors, and co-workers.
  • Ability to make self clearly understood by others.
  • Ability to understand and follow basic written and oral step-by-step instructions.
  • A friendly attitude and a servant’s heart.

Schedule

Full-time, 8-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM) on a 4 days on, 2 days off rotation.
