Certified Nurse Aide

As an Ambercare Certified Nurse Aide you will support seniors and people with disabilities living independently, providing quality home care while gaining experience in a growing, innovative industry.

Pay

Bonus pay is available. Pay rates start at $17.50 per hour, with daily pay offered for select positions.

Schedule

This entry‑level, part‑time role offers consistent, flexible hours to accommodate personal needs.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take medication at the appropriate time.
• Assist the client with therapy exercises under the direction of a Registered Therapist.
• Provide personal care including hair care, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with routine bodily functions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment through light housekeeping (changing bed linens, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning kitchen and bathroom, providing and emptying bed pans, laundry).
• Provide companionship and stimulation (reading, walks, etc.) and accompany clients to doctors or other appointments.
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition to the Agency Director or Service Coordinator.
• Turn or reposition bedridden patients.
• Examine patients for bruises, blood in urine, or other injuries/wounds.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training.
• Satisfactory background check and valid driver’s license.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to compassionately care for others.
• Reliable, energetic, self‑motivated, and well‑organized.
