Certified Montessori Guide (3-6 Years Old)

About the role

Leading a classroom takes a special kind of skill. As a Montessori Certified Guide, you are uniquely trained to deliver an authentic Montessori experience, encouraging children to be innovative and independent in an early education setting with mixed-age classrooms and carefully curated Montessori materials.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Montessori curriculum and facilitate engaging interactive learning experiences.
• Follow all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development topics.

Requirements

• Credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program (MACTE preferred).
• Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field; previous lead teacher experience preferred.
• Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply.
• At least 18 years of age.
