Certified Medicine Aide, CMA

Doctors Community is seeking a Certified Medicine Aide (CMA) to join their team on a full-time, 7am-3pm schedule. Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and document administration per policy.
- Maintain medication supply, clean and restock medicine carts and medicine room.
- Notify pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.
- Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy.
This role operates under the direction of a licensed nurse, administering medications and medicated creams within the standards of practice as permitted by certification and state regulations.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a state-approved medication aide training course.
- Completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant (CNA) training program.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with one year of experience as a CNA.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to ensure patient safety and respond to medical and physical needs.

Pay
Posted salary range: USD $23.50 - USD $24.00 per hour.
