Certified Medication Technician - Full Time (6:30am-3pm)

Job Summary

Join Our Team at Vitality Living as a Certified Medication Technician at our Acclaim at East Beach Community! We are a vibrant community dedicated to creating meaningful experiences for our residents, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider.
• Maintain residents' records daily promptly and following company policy and procedure.
• Observe and document the health and emotional condition of each resident, promptly reporting all changes to the supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the medicine supply room.
• Complete an accurate accounting of all medications, including controlled substances.
• Absorb and document the health and emotional condition of each resident, promptly reporting all changes to the supervisor.
• Assist with the completion of medication cart audits.
• Provide direct resident care.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.
