Certified Medication Technician (CMT)

About the Role

As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT), you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments to our residents under the supervision of our licensed nursing staff. You will also assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, and provide emotional support and companionship to our residents. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents, and we are seeking a team player who is committed to delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and ordered by licensed nursing staff
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Document medications and treatments administered in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with licensed nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents

Requirements

• Active certification as a Medication Technician (CMT) in the state of Missouri
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and prioritization of tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
