Aspire Senior Living Platte City, a skilled nursing facility in Platte City, MO, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents, making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by a licensed nurse.
- Accurately document medication administration and resident responses.
- Observe residents for side effects and report any adverse reactions to the nursing team.
- Assist with daily living activities as needed, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility support.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.
- Promote a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
Requirements
- Valid Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification in Missouri.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Pay
$19/hr and up, plus an increased nursing shift differential of up to $4/hr.
Schedule
Full-time evenings, 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends.
