Responsibilities
- Aid residents with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, transporting, and transfers.
- Assist residents with dining, including escorting, transferring, order taking, serving, feeding, meal preparation, and clean up.
- Perform housekeeping duties, including bed making, trash removal, laundry, room and bathroom cleaning as needed, and requests from residents.
- Lead and assist with life enrichment activities, such as craft/game groups, life skills, daily pleasures, and one-on-one interactions.
- Escort residents to scheduled programming and could participate in outings and/or day trips.
- Take and record vital signs and weights as ordered or required by regulations.
- Administer prescription medications at the appropriate times for assigned unit during shift. Sign off on all medications at the time of administration.
- Participate in and attend all in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- State Certification as a Nursing Assistant and Med Tech.
- Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
- Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
- Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Education

Experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.
