Certified Medication Aide (Weekend Shift)
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Provide general care and assistance to residents, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with feeding, toileting, and mobility needs
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and medication administration
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
Requirements
- Valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
