Certified Medication Aide (PRN)

About the Role

Certified Medication Aide at The Ashford of Mt. Washington, 1131 Deliquia Drive, Cincinnati, OH. This position is PRN (as‑needed) and supports residents by providing medication administration, personal care, and responsive assistance.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed and under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Complete documentation of medication administration.
• Promptly report resident requests or needs for PRN medications to the nurse.
• Promptly report any adverse or concerning reactions to medications to the nurse.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, management, and families.
• Provide physical resident care, including all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Answer call lights in a timely manner and respond to resident needs.
• Perform any other duties assigned or delegated by the Director of Care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Medication Aide certificate from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Completion of first‑aid training and CPR certification.

Pay

$24 per hour plus shift differential.

Schedule

PRN (as‑needed) shifts.
