About the role
Provide medication assistance to patients in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed by a physician
- Monitor patient’s response to medications
- Document all medication administration and patient observations accurately
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during medication administration
Requirements
- Active Certified Medication Aide within South Dakota, or ability to apply for reciprocity/endorsement
- Maintain required certification/qualifications and associated standards
- One year of experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age

Skills
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
