Certified Medication Aide CMA

About the role

We are currently searching for Certified Medication Aides to join our friendly, caring, and supportive team at Northgate Care Center. Responsibilities

• Ensure residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect.
• Provide residents with the medications they need.
• Perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Observe changes in resident's condition.
• Maintain a safe environment for residents.
• Maintain education about medication administration and resident care.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• An unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate.
• Successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training.
• C.P.R. certification.
• One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience (preference given to candidates with this experience).

Pay

Competitive wages based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

• 1st shift part-time.
• 2nd shift part-time.
• PRN (on-call).
