About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide/CNA to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents in a nursing home setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care and a thorough understanding of medication administration. This role is essential in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by accurately administering medications, maintaining medical records, and working some shifts as a CNA and some shifts on the medication cart.

The licensed medication aide is one of our key partners in ensuring that we keep our residents as safe as possible, providing prescribed medications and care timely, which is what our patients, residents, and their families and loved ones expect and deserve.

The Suites Rio Vista is an Eduro Healthcare LLC facility, conveniently located directly across the street from Rust Medical Center and on the border of both Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. Built in 2015, we have a beautiful 132-bed facility for both skilled and long-term care. We are a short drive from UNM Sandoval and easily accessible from Paseo Del Norte and Unser Blvd.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications accurately and timely.
  • Maintain medical records.
  • Work shifts as a CNA and shifts on the medication cart.
  • Provide exceptional care to residents in a nursing home setting.
  • Ensure the health and well-being of residents.

Requirements

  • Valid CNA and Med Aide license from the NMBON.
  • Strong background in senior care.
  • Thorough understanding of medication administration.

Schedule

  • Open shifts will be on days.
  • At least 1 weekend shift per week is required.

Pay

Starting wage is competitive and dependent on experience.
