Certified Medication Aide (CMA) 8am to 8pm

About the role

Reunion Plaza Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center in Texarkana, OK is seeking full‑time Certified Medication Aides (CMA) to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services. As a CMA you will administer oral and topical medications to residents as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following state and federal regulations and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the “five rights” of medication administration.
• Records the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.
• Observes for and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
• Administers PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.

Qualifications

• State certification as a nurse aide is required.
• State‑approved medication administration certification.
• Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Schedule

Full‑time, 8 am – 8 pm shifts.
