Certified Medication Aide

Responsibilities
- Administer medications, as prescribed, and under the direction of a licensed nurse.
- Complete documentation of medication administration.
- Promptly report to the nurse a resident’s request/need for PRN medications.
- Promptly report to the nurse any adverse or concerning reactions to medications.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, management, and families.
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures that fall under the scope of the Certified Medication Aide.
- Provide physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
- Answer call lights in a timely manner and respond accordingly to the resident’s needs.
- Perform any other duties as assigned or delegated by the Director of Care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certified Medication Aide certificate from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Completion of first aid training and CPR.

Pay
$24/hour plus shift differential.
Schedule
Full-time: 7:00am - 3:00pm.
