Responsibilities

  • Administer medications, as prescribed, and under the direction of a licensed nurse.
  • Complete documentation of medication administration.
  • Promptly report to the nurse a resident’s request/need for PRN medications.
  • Promptly report to the nurse any adverse or concerning reactions to medications.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, management, and families.
  • Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures that fall under the scope of the Certified Medication Aide.
  • Provide physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Answer call lights in a timely manner and respond accordingly to the resident’s needs.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned or delegated by the Director of Care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certified Medication Aide certificate from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • Completion of first aid training and CPR.

Pay

$24/hour plus shift differential.

Schedule

Full-time: 7:00am - 3:00pm.
