About the role

Certified Medication Aide positions at Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living provide support to residents in managing their physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs. This role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, implementing personal care plans, and administering medications as directed by the clinical team.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
  • Assisting residents in activities of daily living
  • Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
  • Providing assistance with resident activities and programs
  • Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely manner
  • Administering medication to residents

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working
  • Current certification for Medication Administration - per state requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred
  • Minimum of 1 years of Medication Administration experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification preferred

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of medication administration procedures
  • Patience and empathy towards residents
