About the role

Job Opportunity: Certified Medication Aide *must be a licensed ceritified medication aide in Rhode Island*

Responsibilities

• Administer both prescription and non-prescription medications to patients as part of their daily care routine.
• Cook up coordination with various nurses to provide assistance in patient care and medication management.
• Adhere to written or verbal instructions on medication management, ensuring precision and accuracy.
• Maintain records of medication dosages and administration times.
• Regularly observe patients, document changes in their condition, and communicate relevant information to the healthcare team.
• Collect samples for analysis as required.
• Ensure routine inspection and cleaning of equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient healthcare environment.
• Uphold all health and safety standards.
• Respond promptly to patient emergency call signals, bells, or intercom systems to identify patient needs.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or relevant qualification.
• Must be a certified medication aide.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within the healthcare team.
• A good understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.

Pay

Ranging $25-$28 per hour
