Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) 10pm to 6am

Victorian Estates in Yukon, OK has opportunities for full-time Certified Medication Aides to join our team. A rewarding career awaits at a facility specializing in resident care, where you’ll administer oral and topical medications as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal rules and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following state and federal regulations and facility policy.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the “five rights” of medication administration.
• Record the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.
• Observe for and report any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
• Administer PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.

Requirements

• State certification as a nurse aide is required.
• State-approved medication administration certification.
• Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Schedule

10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Friday and Saturday.
