Certified Medical Assistant - Weekly Pay
Description
Clinical Duties: Patient Intake: Interview patients, record medical histories, and confirm the reason for their visit.
Vitals: Measure and log vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, weight, and temperature.
Exam Support: Prepare examination rooms, sterilize medical instruments, and assist providers during physical examinations.
Procedures: Draw blood, collect laboratory specimens, perform EKGs, and administer injections or medications under the direction of a physician.
Patient Care: Change wound dressings, remove sutures, and instruct patients on medications or special diets
- Scheduling: Book patient appointments, surgeries, and coordinate hospital stays or lab referrals.
- Record Keeping: Update and maintain Electronic Health Records (EHR) and transcribe doctors' notes.
- Billing and Insurance: Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle basic billing tasks.
- Facility Management: Answer telephones, route messages, and inventory/order medical and office supplies.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
