Certified Medical Assistant - PPG Atlantic Station

Responsibilities

• Provides a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Preferred and Graduate of an accredited an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program
• Required or In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience
• No experience required
• Required or In lieu of degree one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization Required
• National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT Required
