About the Role

Certified Medical Assistant supporting outpatient clinical care in ambulatory settings.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care, preparing patients, and collecting vital signs and health information.
• Assisting with examinations, performing EKGs, wound dressings, phlebotomy, and medication administration.
• Supporting minor surgical procedures.
• Managing administrative tasks such as patient scheduling, documentation, referrals, billing, and inventory.
• Maintaining a safe, clean environment in compliance with infection protocols.
• Facilitating patient communication and education.
• Ensuring efficient clinic operations.
• Assisting with training new staff and supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred).
• Certification as CMA or RMA required (from recognized organizations like NHA, AMT, AAMA, etc.).
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of EMR systems, patient safety, and infection control protocols.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to perform clinical duties within competency and adapt to various clinic needs.

Schedule

Full-time role. May require travel between sites.
