About the Role
Certified Medical Assistant supporting outpatient clinical care in ambulatory settings.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care, preparing patients, and collecting vital signs and health information.
- Assisting with examinations, performing EKGs, wound dressings, phlebotomy, and medication administration.
- Supporting minor surgical procedures.
- Managing administrative tasks such as patient scheduling, documentation, referrals, billing, and inventory.
- Maintaining a safe, clean environment in compliance with infection protocols.
- Facilitating patient communication and education.
- Ensuring efficient clinic operations.
- Assisting with training new staff and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred).
- Certification as CMA or RMA required (from recognized organizations like NHA, AMT, AAMA, etc.).
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of EMR systems, patient safety, and infection control protocols.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to perform clinical duties within competency and adapt to various clinic needs.

Schedule
Full-time role. May require travel between sites.
