Certified Medical Assistant - McLeod Orthopedics (Thursday-Sunday)
About the role
Hiring for Ortho Now team- Thursday/Friday 10am - 8pm and Saturday/Sunday 10am - 3pm.
Essential Functions
- Assess patient needs through history, observation, and analysis of diagnostic data.
- Perform direct patient care, prepare patients for examinations, conduct specialized tests and procedures.
- Administer medications, provide patient education, schedule appointments, handle telephone consultations.
- Ensure clean and well-equipped examination rooms, manage medical supplies, contribute to departmental QA projects.
- Commitment to continuous learning and teamwork fosters a positive practice environment and supports multifaceted responsibilities.
Required Education/Experience
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent from an accredited school.
- At least one year experience in a physician’s office or other clinical setting.
- Must be Registered or State Certified as a Medical Assistant with accrediting board.
