Certified Medical Assistant / Licensed Practical Nurse - Primary Care

About the role

Provide quality patient care under a physician's supervision, with a focus on compassionate service in a 4-day workweek that excludes nights, holidays, and weekends. Emphasis on maintaining a safe, clean environment and adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and take vitals
• Document in electronic medical records
• Administer injections and assist with minor procedures
• Ensure proper calibration, cleaning, and maintenance of clinical equipment
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Manage exam room supplies
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, and patient education
• Observe and report patient conditions
• Triage patients
• Prepare for exams and procedures
• Administer treatments and tests as ordered

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program or licensed practical nurse (LPN) certification
• Certifications such as BLS
• Physical ability to perform job functions including lifting and standing
• Strong communication and organizational skills
