Certified Medical Assistant / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - UT Rheumatology

University Physicians' Association is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our UT Rheumatology team located on the UT Medical Center campus. Responsibilities
- Assisting physicians with direct patient care
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Completing prior authorizations and pre-certifications for MRIs and CTs
- Communicating test results clearly and professionally
- Performing phlebotomy
- Supporting a variety of clinical and administrative duties
Requirements
- Active LPN license or MA Certification required
- Previous medical or clinical experience preferred
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and effective time management

The ideal candidate will prioritize patient care, demonstrate strong communication skills, and be comfortable giving instructions and writing orders.
