Certified Medical Assistant II - Cardiology

Responsibilities

Assists physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks.

Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management.

Provides information to patients to help them utilize and benefit from clinic services.

Conveys a positive image of the organization.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum one year work experience in public contact jobs.
• Work experience in healthcare preferred.
• Current Phlebotomy certification or competency required.
