About the role
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is an integral part of our healthcare team. Reporting to the Lead CMA, the CMA provides direct patient care and administrative support in a busy medical office setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with check-in and check-out procedures
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
- Take patient histories and vital signs
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory tests
- Communicate with patients regarding their health status and treatment plans
- Manage patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Medical Technology, or related field
- Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Basic computer skills including data entry and spreadsheet management
- Good physical stamina for standing and moving throughout the day

Pay
$20.00 per hour
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
