Overview
Sentara Medical Group is seeking to hire a Medical Assistant!
Requirements
- Must be either a CMA, CCMA, RMA, or EMT-Basic.
- This is a flexi Float Pool position.
- Primary work locations: Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake.
- May require travel to Edenton, Elizabeth City, or Moyock sites based on staffing needs.
- Standard Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 12 hours weekly.
- Differential pay is provided for the travel and flexibility that is needed for this role.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)
- Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)
- BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year of clinical or administrative experience
- Phlebotomy experience (Preferred)
