How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Welcoming and interviewing patients
• Accurately measuring and documenting vital signs
• Preparing examination rooms to ensure a smooth, comfortable visit
• Assisting with treatments as directed and supervised by the providers
• Performing select clinical duties and providing essential administrative support, including managing patient records, answering calls, and handling necessary charting
• Documenting provider-patient encounters, meticulously listing diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions
• Transcribing patient orders for lab work, testing, and medications

Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• MEDICAL ASSISTANT obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences We're Seeking

• 1 year of CMA experience.
