Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical flow by preparing exam rooms and prioritizing patient transitions to ensure a seamless, stress-free experience for both the provider and the patient.
• Capture the patient’s story by accurately measuring vital signs and interviewing patients to ensure the care team has a clear, real-time clinical picture before every consultation.
• Master clinical documentation by transcribing diagnoses, orders, and follow-up instructions into the patient record, ensuring the accuracy of the care journey from start to finish.
• Optimize the care environment by managing essential supplies and materials, ensuring the team is always equipped to provide uninterrupted patient care.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Medical Assistant Credential (one of the following required, obtained within 6 Months/180 days of hire or transfer):
  • National Healthcareer Association (NHA) – American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted
  • National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) – American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted
  • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) – American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted
  • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) – American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted
  • American Medical Technologists (AMT) – American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted
• Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

• Travel Required: Leander, Lago Vista, Round Rock, and Liberty Hill – As needed
