Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Primary and Specialty Care, Zion Crossroads

About the role

In this role, you will support a busy Primary and Specialty Care clinic at Zion Crossroads, helping patients move confidently through their care experience while working alongside providers across a broad range of clinical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and help prepare them for provider visits
• Support medication refill workflows and patient follow-up
• Process clinical paperwork and assist with administrative needs
• Communicate results and care information to patients as directed
• Aid providers with a variety of clinical procedures
• Partner with nurses, providers, and administrative teammates to keep the clinic running smoothly
• Contribute to a patient-centered environment recognized for outstanding patient experience

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensure: American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. Current Medical Assistant Certification through a recognized national professional association such as the AAMA, AMT, NAHP, ARMA, or NHA.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $19.37 - $28.47 hourly.

Schedule

• Standard shifts may include 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Potential 10-hour shift opportunities after successful orientation and demonstrated competency when operationally feasible
