About the role

We are seeking a skilled Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our patient care team. This individual will work alongside our physicians and mid-level providers to deliver outstanding care in our busy practice, with no nights or weekends required. Training will be provided in all clinical aspects of the office.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for health care visits
• Verify patient information; review and/or record medical history; take vital signs; confirm purpose of visit or treatment
• Support patient care delivery
• Complete records by entering orders as directed by the physician and recording test results into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment
• Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping patient care information confidential

Requirements

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience preferred

Pay

Starting wage range: $16.50–$18/hour
