Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Cardiology

About the role

As a Certified Medical Assistant joining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier®. You will perform routine clinical and administrative duties to support the daily operations of the practice and ensure excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the physician or nurse with patient assessments, treatments, and clinical procedures
• Performing basic diagnostic and specimen collection
• Monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition
• Accurately documents patient care
• Safeguards exam rooms, equipment, and medical supplies
• Supports administrative functions such as scheduling, reception, registration, filing and data entry as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required
• Associate's degree preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• CMA, RMA, or CCMA through AAMA or NHA required
