Get to Know Your Team

BSA Harrington Cancer Center is a state‑of‑the‑art, 48,000‑square‑foot facility featuring two new linear accelerators for radiation treatments, 24 patient exam rooms, 28 heated chemotherapy infusion chairs, and three private infusion rooms for families.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior patient care in a clinic‑based environment.
• Perform both clinical and administrative tasks that support patients as part of a care team led by a physician and/or advanced practice provider.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school or program.
• Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
• Basic knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire (or transfer into the role) and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree.
• Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care.
