Certified Medical Assistant - Bilingual (Spanish)

About the role

We are currently seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant for our Adult Medicine division in Lehigh Acres. This position may require travel between pediatric offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient and physician use
• Perform patient intake: vital signs, medical history, and medication review
• Assist physicians in the exam room during physicals and procedures
• Record patient charts in the management system in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations

Requirements

• Certification or registration from an accredited program for medical assistants (CMA/RMA)
• One year of medical assisting experience or a combination of medical education and work experience
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• Knowledge of phlebotomy, patient intake, and common medications

• Great attention to detail and ability to record information accurately
• Solid attendance record
