About the role
Provide high-quality care and education for children ages 6 weeks through 3 years in an Early Head Start setting. Follow Pennsylvania state licensing regulations and Early Head Start Performance Standards, complete required home visits, and maintain accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education for children ages 6 weeks through 3 years
- Follow all Pennsylvania state licensing regulations and Early Head Start Performance Standards
- Complete required home visits with enrolled families
- Attend all required trainings and professional development opportunities
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members while maintaining required documentation
Requirements
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Associates or Bachelor’s)
- EEC Teacher or Lead Teacher Certification
- Experience in a childcare setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and passion for working with children
- Ability to pass background and health requirements
