Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Establish safe, reliable peripheral IV access for residents.
• Absess veins and select appropriate IV sites.
• Ensure IV access is secure, functional, and comfortable for residents.
• Monitor for and report complications such as infiltration, phlebitis, or infection.
• Document all IV insertions and related procedures accurately.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and providers to ensure timely patient care.

Qualifications

• Current certification to perform peripheral IV insertion.
• Previous experience with IV placement in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Excellent venipuncture skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Compassionate, professional, and dependable.
