About the role
We are currently seeking a mid-career certified industrial hygienist for our Toxicology, Health, and Economic Sciences business area. The position will support multiple clients and projects, with the common theme of evaluating occupational chemical exposures and potential health risks and providing exposure control recommendations to clients. The day-to-day work will vary and may involve conducting assessments, gathering and analyzing information and data, performing research, developing recommendations, and preparing technical deliverables.

Responsibilities
- Developing and communicating industrial hygiene sampling plans
- Performing quantitative industrial hygiene assessments at client sites
- Compiling and analyzing industrial hygiene results and data using statistical methods
- Preparing and reviewing technical reports, memoranda, and presentations
- Conducting literature reviews and critiques
- Advising clients on industrial hygiene program development, control solutions, and containment strategies
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative exposure and risk assessments
- Advising clients on facility and equipment design for employee protection
- Collaborating to develop industrial hygiene strategies with colleagues
- Participating in business development
Requirements
Candidates should hold an advanced degree in toxicology, pharmacology, biology, chemistry, environmental health, or similar field.
- 5+ years of industrial hygiene experience
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential in good standing or eligibility and intention to apply for certification
- Prior work experience developing industrial hygiene programs and assessment strategies for diverse sites or processes
- Experience conducting industrial hygiene program auditing is a plus
- Demonstrated proficiency in preparing technical work products, including writing reports and performing/reviewing industrial hygiene assessments
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A desire to grow both intellectually and professionally
- Strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers

Pay
$65,000-$115,000 per year
