Job Summary

Qualifications

• Must be credentialed or licensed in the state where working.
• Current license, certification, or training is required in one of the following qualifying vocations: Registered Nurse, Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN), National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, Emergency Medical Technician, Diving Medical Technician (DMT), Military Corpsman, Commercial or Military Diver, Life Support Technician.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in healthcare or the diving industry is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of decompression tables is strongly desired.
• Ability to physically meet the working conditions required of the job.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the compression chamber system and supporting components.
• Perform maintenance activities of the hyperbaric chamber(s) and associated systems and equipment, as directed.
• Report to the Center HBO Safety Director with respect to safety issues and/or concerns.
