Certified Home Health Aide Somerset Cases
About the role
Provide essential, hands-on care in clients' homes while helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help clients with mobility assistance, transfers, and hands-on personal care
- Ensure clients' safety and comfort in their home environment
- Communicate regularly with clients, families, and healthcare providers to monitor and improve client health and wellbeing
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements
- Current New Jersey CHHA Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong English communication skills
- Experience with mobility assistance, transfers, and hands-on personal care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Passing score on the New Jersey Home Health Aid Competency Exam
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience and empathy

- Base pay: $20/hour + additional case differential based on:
- - Hours per day / days per week
- - Distance traveled
- - Pets in the home
- - Couples Cases
- - Level of care required
- Earn an additional $1-$10+ per hour depending on the case
- Day Shifts (Thursday-Saturday) or (Sunday- Wednesday)
- 7am-7pm (12 Hours)
- 8am-8pm (12 Hours)
- 8am-6pm (10 Hours)
- 9am-7pm (10 Hours)
- 8am-4pm (8 Hours)
- 9am-5pm (8 Hours)
- Overnight Shifts (Thursday-Saturday) or (Sunday- Wednesday)
- 7pm-7am (12 Hours)
- 8pm-8am (12 Hours)
- 9pm-9am (12 Hours)
- 8pm-6am (10 Hours)
- 9pm-7am (10 Hours)
