Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on personal care including bathing and hygiene, hair and nail care
- Ambulate and transfer patients, assist with dressing
- Assist with elimination, linen change, range of motion, light meal preparation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks relevant to the patient/client
- Report on patient’s condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse
- Follow Apollo documentation and care procedures and maintain professional conduct
Requirements
- Current California Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification, compliant with federal and state requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written care instructions and accurately document services provided
- CPR certification
- Experience in home healthcare
